Anomalous Networks was launching its new mobile apps and wanted to put the apps at the forefront of their branding strategy. The Telicost app was the focus as the site was completely redesigned with more of a consumer-centric approach.

After the Touchtech identity was established, they needed a website to start displaying their work. In addition to designing Android apps for other companies, Touchtech is also developing their own branded apps. The website needed to serve both needs.

Touchtech specializes in developing apps exclusively for the Android platform. The concept of the logo was to mix the hi-tech feel of the next generation touch screen interfaces with the tactile method of using your fingers to directly manipulate the interface on the screen. The modern font gives the name a sense of precision while the brushed fingerprint icon gives it a more organic feel. The colors are similar to the Android colors to tie it in with the platform in which Touchtech works.

The Beamz Interactive

Beamz Interactive had long ago outgrown their initial website. The site was redesigned from the ground up to get the retail music product ready for the holiday buying season. Emphasis was given to updating and refining the look and functionality of the site while continuing the branding already established.

Research and Response needed to update the look and feel of their website. There was a tight deadline as the team at Research and Response was pitching to a large potential partner. The site was built using SquareSpace for hosting and CMS.

Interior Design magazine was launching a new blog called Daily Fix and wanted something to break out of the company template format. They wanted something fresh and vibrant that would keep people coming back to get their ‘daily fix‘. There were two color variations for everyday and during NeoCon, of which Interior Design was a major sponsor.

kontaktmag started in 2005 as contact magazine, a local print magazine. Through the years the look has evolved to reflect the changing state of the magazine, including a change in the spelling and a transition from print magazine to online.

The new logo was designed with an icon look in mind to update the brand image and integrate it with social media and online presence.

As kontaktmag made the transition to online, the logo needed to maintain established brand identity while acknowledging the transition. The ‘mag’ was added to reflect the URL and reinforce the idea that kontaktmag was still a magazine.

The decision was made to change the spelling of contact magazine to distinguish it from another magazine (contract) and to give it an international slant as the magazine was redesigned and refocused from a local urban lifestyle publication to a nationally focused contemporary design magazine.

contact magazine was launched in September 2005 as a local urban living publication for downtown Phoenix, Arizona.
