Samurai Comics was getting ready to open for business and wanted to start building a brand identity from the start. The store was billed as a comic book store but the thing that set Samurai apart was they were planning to become the best source for Japanese animation products as well.

When we designed the logo for Samurai Comics, we had no idea how popular the store was going to be. The logo was slapped on t-shirts, hats, beanies and jackets. They're having trouble keeping them in stock. If you spend anytime in the Phoenix area, you're bound to come across someone wearing the Samurai logo.
